After a week in Spanish I've come to realize how blessed I am to be fluent in both Spanish and English. I see how much people struggle and assume that when I start my studies in French I will have the same difficulties. This week we learned how to say simple phrases to start a conversation. This made me start to think about the people learning but in the opposite way than my classmates, Spanish to English rather than English to Spanish, and I came across this article.

These young kids between the ages of 15 and 17 learned and "perfected" the English language in 3 months! I can only hope that I will have their audacity someday when trying to learn a different language. They are truly inspiring.
